The LM Series azimuth thruster adopts a permanent magnet motor drive, providing reduced pulsating pressure, lower vibration, and noise. The permanent magnet motor is integrated directly above the thruster, eliminating the need for shaft alignment or an additional motor foundation. With no gears inside the thruster body, the transmission is smoother and more efficient. The built-in shaft system and flexible coupling design save both space and installation time while maintaining a lightweight structure.
