The retractable azimuth thruster is designed for high-maneuverability dynamic positioning vessels.During transit, the unit can be fully retracted into the hull to minimize hydrodynamic drag. When precise station-keeping or enhanced maneuvering capability is required, it can be deployed to provide additional directional thrust.
