BIVSTS  consists of a hardware-in-the-loop simulation subsystem and a fully virtual simulation subsystem, providing fully realistic human–machine operation interfaces and supporting remote simulation training. It includes standardized training functions for diesel engines, electric propulsion systems, power stations and switchboards, propulsion shafting/transmission equipment, power automation systems, and other auxiliary engine-room equipment.
 

The system can accurately simulate various operating conditions of different systems and equipment, with real-time display of all relevant operational parameters.

The system hardware and software are based on proven products that have undergone rigorous quality and reliability testing. Robust security protection is implemented to prevent attacks or damage to system software and data. The training simulator is certified by authoritative organizations such as DNV or CCS.
